A felony charge submitted versus an Arnold female implicated of shooting her dog to death in June has actually been dropped.

Arnold cops charged Susan Mullenax, 49, of Alcoa Drive on June 11 with a felony count of exacerbated cruelty to animals.

She was apprehended for a day in the Westmoreland County prison up until a bail bondsman published a $25,000 bail on her behalf, according to court records.

At her initial hearing Thursday prior to District Judge Frank J. Pallone Jr., the charge was withdrawn, court records reveal.

Police apprehended Mullenax after a friend informed them she killed the dog, according to a criminal grievance.

Officers said they discovered the dog inside a garbage bag in the garage with a gunshot injury to the shoulder and neck.
