Locals are involved in regards to the security of a person who has been dwelling in a van after it was destroyed by hearth. The van and boat went up in flames at about 5am at present (Sunday, April 21) in line with a witness.
Local Maddie Bawden stated an “older man” and his canine dwell within the automobile off the A390 at Threemilestone close to Penstraze on the outskirts of Truro, in direction of Chiverton Cross. Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service confirmed it attended the blaze and a crew from Truro Fire Station responded.
Firefighters rapidly set to work to extinguish the flames that had engulfed the autos alongside the street. The blaze was extinguished and the van and boat have been each destroyed, with few objects salvageable.
It is domestically believed the van was occupied by a person and his canine, whereas the boat had been on the location for a number of years.

Maddie stated: “The proprietor of the van was dwelling within the van together with his canine alongside Penstraze on the outskirts of Truro. The photographs present the injury from the fireplace and what stays.
“Not solely did the van go up in flames however an old boat that had been there for a lot of years. The man now hasn’t been discovered to my information and many individuals have known as the police hoping the person and canine are protected.
“He was an older man and wasn’t inflicting any hassle.”

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service stated: “One pumping equipment from Truro responded to this incident. On arrival, a fireplace involving a panel van and a ship was found.
“Firefighters carrying respiration equipment units used hose reel jets to extinguish the fireplace.”
