ABUNDANT SQUARE, N.C. — Surveillance video revealed a state cannon fodder fatally shooting a dog at a Northampton County business on Friday night.
The business owner said he thinks the shooting wasn’t warranted and the dog didn’t present a risk. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is waiting the cannon fodder included.
Rodney Majette owns the R&P car dealer on South Main Street in Rich Square. His sis was at the business with her dog Coco, a 1-year-old pit bull. Around 8 p.m., a state cannon fodder brought up out front, and Majette’s sis headed out to satisfy him.
