An investigation has been launched after a beloved household canine was mistakenly put down by an animal management officer.
The incident occurred on Friday, September 22 within the Gisborne space.
Family canine Sarge was taken from a property in a fenced space, totally collared and chipped, a social media submit stated.

Those who knew Sarge took to Facebook in a submit remembering him as a beloved member of the family.
In the submit, it says that Sarge was instantly put down earlier than the household had the prospect to gather him from the pound.
