He stays on trial at Ayr Constable Court charged with threatening or violent behaviour on Lochgreen golf course, Troon, in March 2021.
In proof, Watson stated Mrs Morton was out running when her dog Tilly got the ball on the 15th hole.
He stated she then tossed it “method behind him”.
The court heard he informed her the hound need to be on a lead when it took the toy once again.
Watson stated Mrs Morton informed him to “f * off”, calling him a “bad-tempered old b ****”.
He declared as he “continued to stroll towards her”, Mrs Morton “thumped” him and swung a punch at him.
