SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. — The City of Everett says it plans to take away a 103-year-old gazebo within the metropolis’s oldest park to make manner for a brand new canine park.

Clark Park has been a neighborhood gathering area for over a century. The land was initially purchased in 1894 and named after John Clark.

Officials say that they had been questioning what to do with the park for years earlier than presenting the canine thought. However, plans to build an off-leash space have been circulating since again in 2019.

It’s unclear whether or not the gazebo will likely be solely demolished or changed in the course of the development.
