More than a decade ago, the My Body author had a recurring role on the popular Nickelodeon show iCarly as Tasha – the girlfriend of Gibby – played by Noah Munck.

E! News asked series co-stars Jerry Trainor and Nathan Kress – who played Spencer and Freddie – what it was like having the supermodel on set.

‘It was just hilarious,’ Jerry said in an interview with E! News’ Francesca Amiker

‘Her and Gibby, we would all just be like, ‘”Wait you two…together…what? How is this even working?”‘

‘But it worked!’ Nathan added. ‘I’ll be darned, it worked.’

In 2021, Paramount+ rebooted the series with the original cast which also included Miranda Cosgrove.

Jerry quipped: ‘I heard she wants to come back on the show. That’s what I heard!’

And that’s not far off from the truth. In March, EmRata sat down for an interview with Buzzfeed and was asked if she’d return for the new iCarly.

‘Definitely. I would do an iCarly reboot. I only did like two episodes, but the streets love it, I get called Tasha a lot,’ she said, adding: ‘which I’m honored.’

The outlet then asked her where she thought Tasha would be today, 11 years after the original series ended.

‘I feel like she’s married, maybe she has a kid, maybe she’s like me, maybe she’s doing exactly what I’m doing.’
