Two persons are in hospital and a 3rd has been left injured after an alleged canine attack in Edinburgh.
Emergency companies have been referred to as to Craigentinny Road after receiving a report of three folks having being bitten by a dog at 8.30am on Thursday, November 30.
Medics attended and two folks have been blue-lighted to the Royal Infirmary for remedy.
A 3rd was handled on the scene by paramedics. Officers investigating the incident have since seized the canine.
The 31-year-old man and 27-year-old girl have each been arrested in connection.
A Police Scotland spokesperson instructed our sister title, Edinburgh Live: “Around 8.30am on Thursday, 30 November, 2023, officers acquired a report of three folks having been bitten by a canine within the Craigentinny Road space of Edinburgh. Emergency companies attended and one person was handled by paramedics on the scene.
“Two folks have been taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for remedy. The canine has been seized. The house owners of the canine, a 31-year-old man and a 27-year-old girl, have been charged in reference to the incident.
“A report might be despatched to the Procurator Fiscal.”
