A hectic dog program commemorated a turning point anniversary for a canine club at the weekend.
Across 2 days, the East Anglian Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club commemorated their 50th Golden Jubilee anniversary with a champion dog reveal at Springfields Events Centre.
The enjoyable day occurred on Friday from 10.30am till 3pm and consisted of video games, classes, technique training, kennel club workshops, health screening and an animal image cubicle.
On Saturday, the Golden Jubilee occasion began early with evaluating for unique award classes with some 200 entries.
These were evaluated by Urko Perez de Lazarraga and Colin Boyle and the primary program judges were Lesley McFayden and Mary Coble.

Owner Catrine Arntzen and dog Katstaff’s Soul Rebel, from Norway, won finest male breed and finest bitch went to Brigannah Don’t Stop Me Now whose owners Mr and Mrs Roberts are from Shropshire.
Lesley McFadyen, club secretary and judge, said: “We had individuals from all over, Sweden, Norway and 2 visitors from Australia. We had 4 anniversary cakes and everyone got rewards.
Founding member and president of the club, Mrs Joyce Shorrock, 97, participated in with her child and was provided a standing ovation.
Funds were raised in an unique raffle and it was totally free entry for viewers with food and beverage and visitors with ring side seats might bring their own picnics.
Golden costume was the order of business and as the occasion was outdoors and the weather condition was warm there were paddler swimming pools and water bowls around.
The club holds 2 open programs a year with the next one being hung on Sunday, September 3 at the Elizabethan Centre, Whaplode Drove.
There is one champion occasion annually and the organisers have actually rebooked Springfields Events Centre and were ‘singing its praises.’
