The van, which is branded with Dunbar-based dog walking business Dogs By Leigh, was imagined on fire along Spott Road at about 5.30pm.
The fire led to hold-ups to traffic on the roadway, with fire team rerouting roadway users.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue representative validated that fire team went to the occurrence.
They said: “We looked out at 5.20pm on Tuesday to reports of a vehicle on fire on Spott Road, Dunbar.
“Fire team went to and 2 high-pressure pipes were utilized in addition to breathing device.
“Fire team are no longer in participation.
“We were not warned of any injuries.”
