A suspected drunk driver was discovered ‘hiding in a hedge’ by a police canine after surviving a large crash.
Police say the driving force of this completely wrecked automobile was found 1.5 miles away from the only highway visitors collision by Devon and Cornwall Police‘s German shepherd canine Saka, after monitoring them via woodlands and fields.
The crash occurred on Wednesday March 13 within the night. A spokesperson for Devon Police Dogs posted on X (previously generally known as Twitter): “Single car RTC final night time whereby this automobile flipped a number of occasions ejecting driver from inside.
“Saka tracked, navigating primary roads, woodland and farmers fields earlier than discovering the driving force 1.5 miles away buried deep inside a hedge making an attempt to cover.”
The driver was subsequently arrested for drink and drug driving.
