GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — Dozens of dogs are searching for new properties after being saved from a Minnesota animal rescue.
The Animal Humane Society is caring for 30 dogs linked to a rescue in Andover.
Anoka County Sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant there final week after eight dogs had been discovered lifeless close to Cottage Grove this month.
Deputies consider the dogs died on the rescue.
“In this occupation there’s a variety of unhappiness,” mentioned Tierney Peters with the Sheriff’s Office. “Of course [our deputies are] human beings, and plenty of of them are canine lovers themselves. It’s tough in fact.”
The Humane Society says 22 dogs had been taken from the rescue and eight had been introduced in from foster properties.
The metropolis of Andover has deemed the animal rescue uninhabitable.

Liv Hagen with the Humane Society says the purpose for the dogs taken from the rescue is adoption.
There are a wide range of breeds, sizes and ages.
“They’ve been very thirsty, very hungry,” Hagen mentioned. “We do have dogs which can be presently being handled for some concern and anxiousness as effectively. We’re at all times very pleased after we can take away animals from these conditions and get them out of a troublesome spot.”
No fees have been filed. No one’s been arrested.
The causes of dying for the eight dogs are nonetheless being decided.
