“I named them Hazel and Louise. They are sisters. I have had both girls fully vaccinated, they have tested negative for heartworms, and they have been spayed. They are ready for their forever families. I keep hoping for an organization to take them into their program, but I haven’t had any luck so far.”
After consulting with a veterinarian, Mares believes the ladies are about 10 months old, and are a mixture of pit bull, boxer, and husky.
“They really are sweet dogs, but they are mischievous. They’re doing puppy things because they are puppies. They’d probably do best in a home without small children since they are over 50 pounds,” she defined.
Mares would love for the ladies to be adopted collectively however understands that might not be a actuality.
“I just know if somebody got to know them, they would love them. I love them too, I just don’t have a place for them,” she stated, breaking down in tears.
