A dog worn a blue t-shirt was eliminated from a ‘intoxicated lady who was not taking care of it.’ A report was made to the British Transport Police (BTP) on Friday, August 18.
Police in the West Midlands were called after issues were raised that the owner was ‘intoxicated and not sufficiently taking care of her dog.’ Officers looked at the ‘well-being’ of the dog and are now examining to see if any offenses have actually happened, said the BTP.
A photo shared on X (previously Twitter) revealed the dog being in a paddy wagon, with an officer in the front seat providing a thumbs up. It was using a light blue t-shirt with a red lead.

Officers validated that they discovered the dog dressed up after a social networks user questioned whether the option of clothes was their doing. Police went on to explain the clothing as a ‘style criminal activity.’
A representative for the British Transport Police said on X: “Yesterday (August 18) our officers received a text report regarding a female who was intoxicated and not adequately caring for her dog. Officers attended and ensured the welfare of the dog whilst further enquiries are ongoing to establish any offences. Can confirm the fashion crime was not our doing!”
