PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A canine in Pittsburgh died after being electrocuted whereas walking on a metallic plate over the weekend.
There is concern surrounding the security of a pedestrian walkway on the Murray Avenue Bridge in Pittsburgh’s Squirrel Hill neighborhood.
The proprietor of Post-Operative and Therapeutic Massage stated this was the spot the place a person and canine have been walking when the canine stepped on a metallic plate.
Julia Schandelmeier stated she referred to as 911 after it occurred.
“Let them know what is going on on to allow them to maintain this so this does not occur once more,” Schandelmeier stated. “We get lots of dogs and youngsters and one thing that is scorching shouldn’t be accessible.”
KDKA-TV’s Mamie Bah reached out to Pittsburgh Public Safety, which stated the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire responded to the decision on Sunday, together with the Department of Public Works
Schandelmeier stated the canine died and the proprietor suffered some accidents, “Because the canine was actively dying. The canine bit him on his hand.”
