Despite an extensive search on land and sea the dog might not be discovered
The RNLI were called out following reports that a dog had actually fallen from the cliffs at the Valley of the Rocks in Lynton previously this afternoon (April 14).
Lifeboat teams from Ilfracombe validated they were mobilised to the scene at around 1.30pm today, with an exhaustive search lasting over five and a half hours occurring throughout both land and sea in the location.
A representative for the organization mentioned “unfortunately the dog might not be discovered.”
They validated that the lifeboat returned back to the harbour close by simply after 7pm this night.
