AUSTIN, Texas – Austin firefighters rescued a canine from a construction hearth in Central Austin.
The hearth began in a building on Guadalupe close to 18th Street simply after 6 p.m. Monday.
Initial reviews had been of smoke and flames from a 3rd story with a potential person inside.
Firefighters performed a major search and rescued a canine, however didn’t discover a person contained in the building.
AFD reunited the canine and its proprietor on the scene.
Crews stayed after the hearth was out to ventilate the building and verify for extension of the hearth.
Still no phrase on what brought on it.
