A dog has actually been rescued after hurting itself while walking up England’s greatest mountain.

The owners of the dog were walking from Scafell Pike to Langdale, in the Lake District,  when their dog chose it would not budge and declined to walk any more due to the fact that it was hurt and tired.

Rocky, an Akita dog, declined to climb up down the mountain due to the fact that its paw was hurt, The Guardian reported.

On Saturday (regional time), the dog’s owners called regional cops to arrange a rescue group to help bring their dog pull back the mountain.

On Facebook, Keswick Mountain Rescue Team, which rescued the dog, said another rescue group at first was going to rescue the hurt pooch however ended up being hectic with “several call-outs,” so they passed it on to them.

The rescue group said they climbed up towards the Esk Hause mountain pass close by, to meet the hurt pooch and its owners.

The Keswick Mountain Rescue Tea said on Facebook: “The casualty stayed cool, calm and favorably regal throughout! The casualty and owners were provided a lift to Keswick Team Base where other members of their celebration gathered them.”
