Dog proprietor tells officers he shot and killed a pit bull attacking a Yorkshire terrier in Midtown

A battle between a pit bull and a Yorkshire terrier led to gunfire with one canine lifeless and one other in essential situation Wednesday morning.

It occurred at round 9:40 a.m. at 860 West Peachtree Street NW close to seventh Street NE. Atlanta Police say the proprietor of the Yorkshire terrier shot the pit bull after the homeowners couldn’t separate the 2 dogs.

The proprietor of the pit bull ran from the scene, however the different canine proprietor stayed to talk with officers.

Officers transported the canine to an space animal hospital.

The case stays underneath investigation.

No arrests have been made.
