LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – A canine present in Lexington has been reunited together with her authentic proprietor after years.
Lexington-Fayette Animal Care & Control says a stray Belgian Malinois was picked up within the downtown space. The crew scanned her for a microchip and found her chip was registered to a lady dwelling in Missouri.
LFACC officers say the girl advised them she had given away the canine, “Frankie,” years in the past. Since then, she says she obtained a number of calls about Frankie being misplaced and wandering the streets.
We’re advised Frankie’s authentic proprietor made the choice to take her again home to Missouri.
LFACC additionally affords microchips for $25 plus tax.
