Some of my friends are dog owners.

They love and value their animals and would have no issue striving to look after them. A sure indication of such dedication is that they get Fido’s poop.

However, a lot of self-centered individuals in Denver believe that their laissez-faire mindset doesn’t stink as much as their dog’s waste product.

They are disrespecting our areas and not looking after Lassie the method she is worthy of, in breach of an unmentioned human/canine agreement.

Denver is among the most dog-friendly cities on earth.

The latest quote by Denver Parks and Recreation is that at the end of 2019, about 158,000 members of the pawed population lived amongst us.

The Mile High City has more dogs than kids, according to the United States Census. The kid population is an approximated 140,000.

Forbes ranks Colorado as the leading state for most-devoted dog fans.

I was not a fan of dogs while maturing due to the fact that my moms and dads didn’t desire us looking after an animal. Most of the dogs I understood of were utilized to safeguard property. Few were permitted inside homes, and those that were normally invested the night outside in the backyard. Rex sleeping with his owner was not a thing.

Part of how I felt about dogs was formed by strays strolling the area and terrifying folks.

I likewise believed a description of dogs I when heard on a television program was on point: “They’re dirty, they’re a pain to train, they’re a pain to wash, they bark when they shouldn’t, they jump on you when you don’t want them to, they chew things, they shed, they lick themselves, they make your house smell, they make your car smell and they make you smell.”
