SNOWVILLE, Box Elder County — A gas heating system that inadvertently toppled inside a motorhome began a big fire early Monday that damaged the vehicle and led to the death of a dog.
About 6:15 a.m., a 58-year-old lady from Washington was oversleeping a motorhome parked at a Flying J Travel Center, 90 S. Stone Road, “when she inadvertently toppled a lp heating system and captured a blanket on fire,” according to the Box Elder County Sheriff’s Office.
The lady got small burns to her hands and face while attempting to get her dog out, however she was not successful.
“The dog was later on discovered departed inside the motorhome. The motorhome and all products inside were entirely damaged by the fire,” the constable’s workplace mentioned.
