TINLEY PARK, IL — A Tinley Park man deals with an attack charge after a fight at a dog park Monday resulted in him flashing a weapon and threatening another dog owner.
Joseph Newren, 63, was at the Canine Campus, 182nd and 84th Avenue, when he and the other individual defended unidentified factors over their animals, Tinley Park Police Chief Matthew Walsh informed Patch.

Newren then flashed a weapon, which was identified to be a starter handgun, or a blank shooting weapon created for the function of beginning races.
Newren was detained and charged with intensified attack, Walsh said.
