A dog owner has actually cautioned homeowners to keep their family pets under control after her dog suffered major injuries in a harsh attack. Dee Green 44, said her partner was walking their 13-year-old husky, along Walsgrave Road in Coventry on Sunday, January 29 at around 9.30am when a dog without a leash passed them.

Dee said the dog ran towards her 13-year-old husky, biting her in the neck and dragging her throughout the yard. Residents close-by saw the attack and hurried to her puppy’s defence, attempting to get the dog away.




The guy, who was walking the dog, didn’t limit the animal and it continued to assault the husky as soon as again. A close-by resident got a slab of wood from her house and handled to frighten the dog.

Dee said the guy, who was walking the let loose dog, rapidly put a lead on him and got away the scene without a word. She informed CoventryLive: “My partner was walking our dog when a huge Mastiff came performing at her from the opposite of the roadway and assaulted her going directly for her neck.

“My partner was attempting to get the dog off our husky, however the guy that was walking the dog and didn’t attempt and stop the attack. He simply attempted to call the dog, however wasn’t doing anything.

“A couple resided in a house opposite heard the turmoil and came out to help get the dog off. They handled to do it, however the chap didn’t attempt and limit the Mastiff and it assaulted my dog once again, dragging her to the roadway and they almost got struck by a car.
