After being sighted scurrying across the undergrowth of the Crawley Downs close to Horley, Rose the rescue pooch is now residing in an animal shelter. The Patterdale terrier went missing six years ago and miraculously survived by residing within the wild.
Rose was rescued from her lonesome existence after a involved passerby seen her on the facet of the highway, and contacted Lost Dog Recovery UK South. After establishing her frequented areas, the staff managed to seize Rose in a cage, and produce her to security.
The terrier has now retired from her time roaming the woods, and is hopefully on her strategy to discovering love in a comfy home with a loving household after she was put up for adoption. It is estimated that Rose is 10 years old, and he or she escaped her unique home aged 4.

Sadly, as a consequence of circumstances altering, the household Rose escaped from have been unable to take her again, so she is now with Last Chance Animal Rescue which serves Surrey, Sussex and Kent. Due to her background, Rose is just a little shy round individuals, as she is used to being a lone ranger.

Although Rose is getting used to the workers and having fun with her walks, she continues to be all the time on the lookout for an escape route so will want a really safe home and backyard with no youngsters.”
