Dog Man: The Musical Writers Kevin Del Aguila and Brad Alexander to Bring Cat Kid Comic Club Musical Off-Broadway
TheatreWorksUSA will provide the opening night as its 2023 Family Summer Theater choice at the Lucille Lortel.
The opening night of Cat Kid Comic Club: The Musical will play Off-Broadway’s Lucille Lortel Theatre this summer season, as TheatreWorksUSA’s 2023 Family Summer Theater offering. Adapted from Dav Pilkey’s book series, the musical will run July 21-August 27.
The work reunites the composing group behind TWUSA’s Dog Man: The Musicalwith present Some Like It Hot star Kevin Del Aguila offering the book and lyrics and Brad Alexander penning the music. Marlo Hunter will direct and choreograph.

The musical will follow Cat Kid and Molly Pollywog and their efforts to teach 21 rowdy infant frogs to make their own comics.
