A dog is hurt after a house ignited over night in the east valley, authorities said.

A single-family home front patio was reported to be on fire and called into the Combined Communication Center by an LVMPD patrol system on Sunday at 12:34 p.m.

The very first fire department system reacted to 2306 Abarth St. near E Sahara Ave. at 12:38 a.m. and discovered the fire dispersing from the patio to the roofing system into the attic.

The Clark County Fire Department carried out a search of the residence and got rid of one hurt dog from the home.

Crews started an offending attack and tore down the fire around 12:50 a.m.

An overall of 30 workers reacted to the scene consisting of 5 engines, 1 truck, 2 saves, and 2 Battalion Chiefs.

NV Energy, Animal Control, and Red Cross reacted to help the house owners.
