A white toy poodle has gone lacking from a canine present happening at Dale Meadows Park in Summerland Labour Day lengthy weekend.
Marissa Johnson mentioned she had introduced her one-year-old canine Danny to compete on the Skaha Dog Show when it escaped from Dale Meadows sportsfield on Friday, Sept. 1 at round 6:30 p.m.
A large search received underway by members of the present and the group however Danny wasn’t discovered.
Johnson mentioned there was a sighting of him on Saturday between 11 a.m. and a pair of p.m. on the railway tracks and round Springfield.
“I received a call that he was running past the Nomad Cidery. The area and the back hill was searched with no further sightings,” she added.
Unfortunately, Danny is working scared so she is asking if folks do see the canine, don’t chase him however do name her straight away.
“I am so impressed by the response from the community. I’ve been working super hard but I am exhausted,” she mentioned.
