This is the heartbreaking face of a household canine that was dumped exterior a rescue centre. Staff discovered the pooch trying ‘lost and frightened’ as they arrived at work, BirminghamLive reports.

The brindle canine is the second pet to be left exterior the centre in Catherine de Barnes, Solihull, this week.

A spokesperson for Birmingham Dogs Home stated: “This pretty woman was left tied up exterior our Solihull rescue centre gates and located by our employees early this morning, trying very misplaced and frightened to have been deserted, and unnoticed within the chilly.
“She is now underneath our care and we’ll present her with all of the assist she wants. This is the second canine that has been left exterior our centre this week and we hope this isn’t an indication of worse to come back as Christmas approaches.
