MUNISING — A canine has been rescued after falling off a 60-foot cliff at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Alger County.
On the night of January 10, a 3-year-old canine named Dancer acquired off her leash and fell off a cliff close to Miners Castle onto a ledge 60 ft under. After hours of looking the world, Dancer’s homeowners have been unable to find their canine at the hours of darkness and have been satisfied she had not survived the autumn.
Later that night time, Pictured Rocks park rangers obtained notification of the misplaced canine. Park rangers enlisted the assistance of Superior High Angle Rescue Professionals (SHARP), a neighborhood rope rescue workforce, to get better the canine from the treacherous part of Lake Superior shoreline.
SHARP members Erik Olsen, Westley Shaffer, and Tyler Davis went to the world the next morning and have been in a position to find a chilly, however alive Dancer.
