MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A dog and a cat were rescued by firemens from a blaze that left substantial damage to a home in Manhattan.
The Manhattan Fire Department says that prior to 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14, teams were contacted us to a home at 913 Pierre St. with reports of a house fire.
When teams showed up, they said they discovered a 2-story home with heavy smoke originating from the 2nd flooring. The blaze had actually infected the attic and was snuffed out in about half an hour.
Officials kept in mind that no injuries were reported as an outcome of the fire and firemens had the ability to rescue one dog and one cat from the home.
