A dog was rescued by San Francisco firemens from a cliff at Fort Funston on Sunday, authorities said.

The dog called Yoga was playing in a location of the park where dogs are permitted off-leash prior to it got stuck on the cliff, Lt. Jonathan Baxter, a representative for the San Francisco Fire Department, informed SFGATE.

Yoga’s owner called 911 for support rather of reviewing the cliff, which Baxter said SFFD advises family pet owners to do. Firefighters gotten here on the scene and a rescue professional was decreased on a rope to the dog. A harness was protected on the dog, and the professional brought Yoga back to safety.

“The dog was reunited with its human companion in good condition with no injury,” Baxter said. The preliminary require support was reported to the fire department mid-morning, and the rescue took about an hour.
