Officials state the Houston Police Department and BARC were called out to the Kashmere Gardens off 610 North on Friday concerning a hurt dog at around 4 a.m. Friday.

According to the authorities, the owners called police after somebody saw the dog, Lucky, on a leash, being burned alive. Officials snuffed out the fire and carried the dog to the Houston Humane Society.
The dog suffered extreme burns to his mouth and had extreme bruising constant with deliberate blunt-force injury, according to the Houston Humane Society. Officials state the abrasions work with the dog attempting to leave the suspect.
According to authorities at HHS, whoever devoted the act utilized an accelerant.
The Houston Humane Society upgraded the dog’s condition and said he was on IV and fluids however passed away on Saturday due to organ failure and burn shock.
