Firefighters delved into action when a dog got buried below tonnes of waste. The lap dog was going after a fox in Ladywood when 2 tones of garden waste and fencing collapsed on top of it.
The puppy’s concerned owner sounded West Midlands Fire Service who sent over teams from Ladywood. They strove to eliminate the earth and quickly enough the dog was released.
Luckily the family pet was unscathed and reunited with their owner. The team required to Twitter to publish pictures of their efforts and one happy owner and dog.
Ladywood Fire and Rescue said: “Small dog rescued when 2 tonnes of garden waste and fencing collapsed on him while going after a fox. “Fortunately the dog was healthy and well, now reunited with its owner. Well done group.”
