A males and female have actually been entrusted ‘possibly life-altering injuries’ following a dog attack in Wigan.
Police were contacted us to the scene of the event on Thomas Street in the Hindley Green location at around 11.30pm on Monday night (May 8). Officers reacted to reports ‘that a dog was precariously out of control’ in a house.
The dog was taken by officers, authorities said. It is presently being kept in kennels while an examination is continuous.

Officers are advising anybody with details about the attack to come forward. In a declaration, a GMP representative said: “At around 11.30pm on Monday 8 May 2023, officers reacted to reports that a dog was precariously out of control in a property on Thomas Street in Wigan.
“A man and a female were hurt throughout the event. Both stay in health center with severe and possibly life-altering injuries, which are not thought to be deadly.
“The dog was taken by expert officers and is presently being kept in kennels. Enquiries are presently continuous.
