The other day, while Karen Andersson’s brother-in-law slept at home with his 2 dogs, a catastrophe started to unfold simply feet far from their bed.
But thanks to an act of loyalty and love of among those dogs, a puppy called Olivia, catastrophe was prevented.
According to Andersson, who published about the event online, a shorted electrical circuit had actually triggered a fire inside the bed room. As the flames grew, her dozing brother-in-law stayed completely uninformed of the lethal hazard that was looming.
“Even with all the black smoke, he didn’t notice. He wouldn’t wake up,” Andersson wrote. “But Olivia noticed.”
