BROOKLYN CENTER, Minnesota (WCCO) — A man who was assaulted by a pack of dogs in Brooklyn Center Thursday afternoon has actually passed away.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner recognized the victim as 22-year-old Dezmond Thomas Trawick.

Brooklyn Center cops state a next-door neighbor called at around 12:45 p.m. to report that 4 or 5 dogs were assaulting somebody.

When cops showed up to the 5700 block of Halifax Avenue North, they released a less deadly round. It struck a minimum of one dog, and the others distributed back into the residence.
