Police on Saturday booked a male for supposedly sexually abusing a female dog in main Delhi’s Inderpuri, the 2nd such event reported in the nationwide capital in a week.
The matter emerged after a neighbour of the implicated, who tape-recorded a video of the event, lodged an authorities problem.
On the basis of the problem, an FIR was signed up versus the implicated under Section 377 (abnormal offenses) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and appropriate arrangements of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, according to a copy of the file seen by PTI.
According to the plaintiff, when he returned home late on February 28, he heard the dog’s sobs originating from your house of the implicated.
The complainant saw the implicated sexually abusing the dog while threatening it with a wiper, according to the FIR.
The event was given the notification of a member of People for Animals, Surbhi Rawat, who published about it on social networks.
“It is stunning that 2 cases of a male raping female dogs have actually emerged within a week. If this is taking place in the capital city, picture the circumstance somewhere else… all the atrocities dogs deal with nowadays, beating, poisoning, hanging, being squashed by automobiles and moving, now we have bestiality too. Shame on us,” Rawat said.
In a comparable case recently, a labourer was detained for supposedly sexually abusing a dog in a park in Delhi’s Hari Nagar.
