A flyball staff from Northamptonshire is getting ready for its participation in subsequent month’s Crufts.

The Northants Falcons Flyball senior staff, which trains on the Piggeries in Bozeat, will head to the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham for the eleventh time after competing in three qualifiers.

Its Crufts captain, Claire Desborough, mentioned it was a “privilege” to qualify for the quarter finals and that it took loads of “onerous work” to get the dogs to competitors commonplace.

This 12 months’s staff is made up of pure breed Labrador Moose, alongside cross breeds Fiddy, Lola and Pace.

Sienna, aged 11, will run Fiddy, whereas Izzy, aged 14, will run Lola.

Club captain Katie Mabbutt mentioned Crufts was “the top of all flyball”.

“There is loads of coaching and there is solely 14 slots to chase… because the winner and runner up of the earlier 12 months robotically qualify.

“This 12 months can be troublesome as we tackle the runners up in our warmth.”

The Northants Falcons can be in motion on 7 March, with Crufts operating till 10 March.
