“We headed left on Springfield Road and were planning on going right up Eagle Street, but as we got to the junction, in a completely unprovoked attack, this dog went straight for my little dog Gizmo.”

She continued: “I was knocked to the ground and dragged on the floor as I fought to save Gizmo. I could hear him screaming but could not physically do anything, and then it just went silent and I thought he had killed him. It was probably over in less than a minute, but it felt like a lifetime.”

“I found Gizmo crossing the road at the top of Eagle Street and he just collapsed. My mum and I rushed him to Vets Now on Barkers Butts Lane in Coundon and he was taken off us for hours to be monitored.”

Vets have been believed to have assessed Gizmo for hours and mentioned they have been ‘stunned that he had survived.’ Jade mentioned: “He was very shut to not.
