A Newbury couple had an emotional assembly with a trainee help canine they named after their son who handed away seven years in the past.
Over time, Chris and Peter James have raised hundreds of kilos for Assist Canines, a UK charity that trains canine to detect seizures and assist individuals with epilepsy get to a protected place.
Their son Alex died following an epileptic seizure on the age of 34, in 2015.
The couple now sponsor a trainee help canine referred to as Alex, who’s being sorted Sheffield couple Shaun and Lesley Logan.
