Corey, the long run service canine, climbs ranks for veterans’ well-being

As we rejoice Veterans Day this weekend, one organization is working to assist practice service dogs for veterans who want them. Its all via the organization Warrior Canine Connection.

As we rejoice Veterans Day, FOX 5 wish to introduce considered one of two pups in metro Atlanta being skilled to turn out to be a service canine for veterans.

These are simply a few of the first steps, as four-month-old Corey in Peachtree City begins her journey to turn out to be a service canine for veterans.

Each of the dogs at Warrior Canine Connection are named after service members. Corey’s namesake is U.S. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Corina DuBois who was one of many first ladies to be stationed on a fight ship.

The dogs are with puppy dad and mom first, then transfer on to different veterans to complete up coaching earlier than being placed with veterans with disabilities.
