Cops are examining the death of a dog in Devizes after a driver installed the pavement and struck it.
The dog was being strolled along Bath Roadway, near Jail Bridge, on a lead at around 10.20 am on Sunday, November 6 when a 4×4 with a trailer connected left the roadway and knocked it down.
The driver stopped however then left without offering any recognition information to the owner of the dog.
The dog was then required to a veterinarian however passed away quickly after.
