MUMBAI: Thanks to a skilled police sniffer canine, a kidnapped six-year-old boy was rescued inside three-and-a-half hours of his dad and mom approaching the Powai police for assistance on Thursday midnight. The kidnapper left the boy, Vivek Kori, round 500 metres from his home at Ashok Nagar slum in Andheri (East) on noticing stray dogs barking incessantly due to ‘Leo’ — the Doberman sniffer canine who was tasked to search out the kid and managed to trace him down inside 90 minutes of being pressed into service.
