A Home Depot client was bitten in the face by a dog while shopping in Colorado last month, according to authorities.

The client was checking out a Home Depot in Evergreen when the dog’s owner and fitness instructor approached them.

The dog owner asked the client to give the dog a treat as part of its training. The client concurred – and after that was quickly bitten in the face by the canine.

The dog owner and fitness instructor then left the building while store staff members were tending to the victim. Both ladies were tape-recorded on the store’s security cam.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office published security images in hopes of determining the lady.

Police state that the victim sustained “major” injuries and will require facial surgical treatment due to the fact that of the attack.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office informed Fox News Digital that they published security images on Thursday to look for help in determining the lady. They situated the suspect later on that night.

The dog owner and the dog fitness instructor left the building while Home Depot staff members were tending to the victim.

“The owner would be held responsible for restitution or in case of any enforcement action,” the constable’s workplace explained on Facebook. “For dog bites, the dog is quarantined at their home for 10 days, to guarantee the dog is not displaying any habits connected with rabies.”

No charges have actually been revealed. Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office’s is still examining the occurrence.
