West Cornwall Search & Rescue Team were called out to College Reservoir by Devon and Cornwall Ambulance last to aid with the hurt walker last Saturday.
He had actually fallen on the walkway whilst out walking his dog and suffered a thought fractured leg.
The group said the rescue was exceptionally hard in challenging surface and would have been even longer if they had not had the ability to cross open fields instead of the course.
Once he was throughout the fields he was put in a 4×4 and driven to the waiting ambulance.

“A man had actually been walking with his dog when he fell and had actually a thought fractured leg.
“Once our staff member showed up on scene, with the help of paramedics, the casualty was packaged and left towards the waiting ambulance.
“It was a challenging, two-hour extraction as the surface was really difficult. It would have taken longer if we had actually taken him totally back along the walkway, however our staff member had the ability to access some nearby fields where the client might be moved to our 4×4 vehicle. He was driven throughout farmland to the ambulance, for additional transport to Treliske.
“We desire him a rapid healing.”
