A fortunate German shepherd was airlifted to security by the Coast Guard Wednesday after tumbling over a 300-foot cliff — equal to the peak of the Statue of Liberty — onto the rocky shores of an Oregon seashore.
The herding canine had been walking alongside a path in Ecola State Park together with her proprietor round 7 p.m. when she fell down the cliff onto a distant stretch of Cannon Beach.
