A mother from Russell Springs and her boyfriend have been arrested after Kentucky State Police say they lied about their canine’s attack on the lady’s child, which left the kid with severe accidents.
Instead, state police stated the couple claimed a stray canine was liable for hurting the 10-month-old.
The baby was taken to the Russell County Hospital Tuesday after which transferred by helicopter to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, state police stated in a information launch.
The hospital and the Russell Springs Police Department have been advised the child had been attacked by “an unknown stray dog,” state police stated, which prompted first responders in Russell County to exit looking out — unsuccessfully — for a stray animal.
