A 3-year-old toddler has been mauled by his household’s pet XL bully.

The incident occurred at a property on Monday in Doncaster, when the canine sunk its enamel into his face whereas he was attempting to climb on the animal.

The canine was seized at 1.15pm and the boy was rushed to hospital for surgical procedure.

The animal was seized by police once they arrived on the scene and has been stored at some kennels whereas they perform an investigation.

Emma Cheney, South Yorkshire Police’s chief inspector, mentioned the XL bully is a registered animal however it’s nonetheless harmful.
