A grandmother says she is heartbroken after her pet Chihuahua was killed by a bike owner over the Easter weekend.

Shirley Harvey, 80, from Cheltenham in Gloucestershire mentioned she was distraught after witnessing the tragic demise of her canine referred to as Lady.

“I heard this terrific scream and he killed her immediately,” mentioned Mrs Harvey.

“I went all limp. I have not slept since.”

The crash occurred at about 10:45 GMT on 30 March in Burrows Playing Field, Leckhampton, the drive mentioned.
